With these kiosks, E-Pass Interactive is taking
part with the country’s first ever Electronic Tollway Collection
System (ECTS), a project being undertaken by Citra Metro Manila
Tollways Corporation.
The short term objective of E-Pass Interactive
is to become the leading interactive kiosks network that will
establish a new channel toward electronic payments and transactions
using the Internet.
It will be the preferred kiosk managed service network through
which corporate clients within the banking, utilities, telecommunication,
financial services and transportation sectors may be able to extend
its reach and provide greater convenience to their customers.
The interactive kiosk is designed to complement traditional “brick
and mortar” branches where customers may transact electronically
and in real time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
By utilizing touch screen web-enabled kiosk technology, consumers
will be able to pay utility or credit card bills, check bank balances,
or buy tickets using familiar ATM-like or Internet browser technologies
and in the comfort of their own community store. A variety of
payment options shall be made available to include cash, debit
cards, credit cards and smart cards.
A sophisticated electronic network can be established to provide
seamless integration among consumers, corporate clients, and E-Pass
Interactive. Numerous clients will benefit from the extended service
channel that E-Pass Interactive offers.
